# Selection sidebar

When multiple samples have been [selected](https://docs.microreact.org/instructions/selecting-and-filtering-data), the selection panel will show the distribution of the currently selected label column (as determined using the eye icon). In addition a second metric can be added using the details column. In the example below `Sample type` has been added
